IJK construction totally renovated our entire basement, including 8 rooms of various sizes and an exterior foundation experiencing water damage. Our home was a 1906 three-story brick structure in Evanston, Illinois. They did everything from clearing the rooms of disposable items to helping lay out the placement of new lighting fixtures. It turned the space into a more usable and enjoyable place to be. Windows were replaced with Jarek's handcrafted wooden windows that matched the original1906 windows.

He has a great sense of design -- the exposed piping was painted to became a statement rather than the old, rusty looking eyesore.

Jarek and his crew did an outstanding job rebuilding and tuck pointing both chimneys of our older brick home. This is a three-story brick home, with a slate roof, which was not an easy task! Jarek had given us an estimate over a year from when the work was actually done, as in the interim we discovered we needed a new roof due to a hail storm. Jarek honored the estimate he had given us at that time.

He also communicated with the roofing contractor to coordinate the timing on getting the work done, which was very much appreciated.
